Hewett Medical Centre – Student Information

The Hewett School has a full-time qualified School Nurse and Counselor available to all students in the Medical Centre which is located on the ground floor in East Site, opposite the Staff Room.

Mrs Downer is the nurse who is based there. You can email the Nurse for confidential advice, for more information see the “Nurses Room” on Fronter.

At the School, we also have Mr Shults the school counselor who is also based in the Medical Centre.

We are here to help you with any medical concerns or questions, if you are feeling unwell or have any injuries. Simply knock on the door and wait. If the nurse is not in the medical room and you need medical attention urgently, find another member of staff. The best times to go are at Break and Lunchtimes.

Opening Hours

Nurse (Medical Centre | A56): Monday to Friday 9:00 - 16:00

Counsellor (Mr M. Shults | Medical Centre): By appointment.
