Information for Exam Candidates

There are a number of key Notices issued by the JCQ ( Joint Council for Qualifications) which have important information for students.

The JCQ is the regulatory body by which all Exams are administered. The Notices range from student expectations during written/onscreen exams to rules and regulations regarding Coursework and Controlled Assessments. Parents/Carers must look at this information and share it with students so that they are aware of what is expected of them in this coming exam year.

Mobile phones are still an increasing problem and students must be aware that if they have a mobile phone in their possession (and that includes their bags) and it goes off for any reason then they risk disqualification from that and possibly future exams.

If you have any problems about any of the points covered in the Notices then please contact the Exams Office or Subject Teacher concerned.
