BBC School News Report
Year 8 Students will be involved in the BBC Schools News Report on Thursday 21st March where they will be busy finding, interviewing, researching and writing the news. They have been learning new skills and discovering the best ways to present to their audience.

BBC News School Report at The Hewett School
On Thursday 21st March, all year 8 students spent the day in a busy 'newsroom', debating the most newsworthy story, editing their news to ensure their reports are clear, concise and correct and feeling the pressure to meet that two o'clock deadline.
Students also had the opportunity to work with BBC Voices to create some of their news reports which includes a video with two main news features.
